ControlSphere DLP is a centrally managed client-server Data Leakage Prevention solution. It secures sensitive company data by not only encrypting user workspace, but as well protecting files and company data from unauthorized copying and distribution by employees.
In general is allows employees to work with company data using their standard programs and tools. At the same it restricts them from exporting, printing, sending out or even exchanging the sensitive data through clipboard to unauthorized locations or programs. Access to the data is always controlled by the system administrator. |

What makes us different |
| ControlSphere DLP uses fully reliable cost-effective approach: it is enough to install client software to enable instant separation between standard and sensitive data on the same PC. There is no need to reinstall any existing software or obtain additional licenses – the data virtualization happens right on employee PCs. |
ControlSphere DLP does not use content filtering approach - it religiously protects any data from secure locations, regardless of the content. Thus it is not sensitive to data masking or encryption attacks and does not require complex tuning. |

How it works |
ControlSphere DLP protects company data in a seamless manner, not forcing employees changing the way they use their computers or programs. It brings minimal (if none) complexity to its users, allowing secure access to sensitive data from both company and (optionally) home locations.

The solution creates a virtual secure environment on client PCs which is separated from standard user processes. All programs, running within the virtual DLP environment, have access to the sensitive company data. No programs running outside of the virtual DLP environment can access or retrieve this data from the "DLP-enabled" instances of these programs.

Employees cannot export, print, send out or even exchange the sensitive data through clipboard to unauthorized locations or programs running outside of the data protection context. In addition to the protection function, ControlSphere DLP provides convenient permission-based data exchange and sharing functionality between employees.

Entire company document structure can be "wrapped" into secure DLP data exchange containers which leaves the convenience of quick document sharing through company network and, at the same time, protect them from malicious or unintentional exposure to third parties. |
